Oni Abeni, I have been following your blog for some time now and this is the first blog that has been short but very interesting to me. People seem to need someone to guide them or tell them or as you stated suggest to them how to live there lives but in all actuality living in honor is enough! If you live in honor then most worldly things will not influence or manipulate you to distractions or to be distracted. If you merely honor your temple with all it is which includes your mind, soul and SPIRIT you will begin to notice a difference in all of the above. Many may say, they honor or respect you but if they do not honor or respect themselves there is no way I trust they have the will let alone the power or ability to do unto me what they apparently are not, can not, have not, or will not do unto themselves... May God be with us all
ReplyDeleteGracious and Humble... my spirit is honored to be recognized and respected. This was one of the shortest but I am grateful and thankful you received the message... Short, Simple, but Spiritual. Some times my spirit speaks moor and some times my spirit speaks less but it truly speaks to me in ways some times I can't explain in depth so it warms my heart and soothes my spirit that it is clear and comforting to others no matter the matter.
DeleteIn agreement with you totally, there are people that need or want some one to guide them but when that some one does they are either not satisfied or decide not to pay attention, listen or allow themselves to be guided and this may seem overwhelming but it is well if that some one remains at peace and remember the choice is theirs... you are only offering guidance not demands. We shall first and foremost honor ourselves before we honor another and we shall do it with all of our self... will and power.
In agreement with you again, G.O.D. is within us (United Spirits) all... We shall OM and honor the DIVINE in ALL as in OURSELF.

Why should honor be shown ?
I believe honor should be shown because it is simply the right thing to do.
If we want Peace on earth and goodwill towards all MEN, WOMEN, CHILD, then honor or respect should be a priority in our daily lives.
The QUOTE/UNQUOTE Golden Rule is to "Treat as we want to be Treated.
We honor all whether it's spiritual or fleshly, past or present by showing them due respect.
Appreciation for the small, medium, and large things someone has done is doing and will do is showing them honor.
Living our lives in a way that nis pleasing to the eyes, mind and heart is showing honor.
Taking care of our bodies[TEMPLE] is showing honor to our CREATOR.
Being obedient to the Laws of the Land is showing honor.
Being true to our mates/friends is showing proper honor.
We do so wholeheartedly, giving 110% each time honor is expressed.
If I HONOR myself I will most definitely HONOR those in my presence, for this is what I look for in return, but it start with ME.
HONORING thy SPIRIT is such a beautiful topic for it brings such on GLOW on my life and moves me to smile and bring joy to whomever I come in contact with.
I make it a goal daily to bring honor to people whom i pass by even if it's just a simple smile.
